I am still alive and well, just been slammed this summer. However, one of my best friends has been asking me to blog. She knows I have pictures to blog and stories to tell, but I have just been so busy or too tired. Anyways, here she is with her hubby and son. My girls are in a few of these as well. Presley and Reagan can never have too much Ian in there day! muah xoxo

L.O.V.E these photographs…..

Kevin and Kristen were married Jan 2009 and I was there to capture all those moments for them as well. Their wedding was the first wedding I photographed. Shortly thereafter Kristen and Kevin found out they would be having a baby. Kristen is my sister-in-law Lisa’s sister…got that? lol.

I had a million baby things and clothes that I was about to take to a garage sale, but soon as they found out they were expecting a girl all my strollers, car-seat, toys and about 15 diaper boxes full of clothes were put to great use!

Maylen actually has on one of Reagan’s outfits in the photos below.

Mother’s Day 2009 Lake Michigan/ Elkhart Family Portrait Photographer

Well even though I have tons of peeps to blog about I just wanted to share some of the wonderful moments I captured lately of my family. I am even in a few of the photos. Thankfully my youngest sis Mal is getting the hang of using my Nikon a little. For Mother’s Day my AWESOME Mom and youngest Sis went out with my girls and I for a day at the beach. Sorry Marin that you weren’t back in town yet, but Cali weather was better I’m sure. We started out our morning heading to church then off to eat. We sat in the parking lot on a blanket eating carryout since Reagan (my youngest) had already fallen asleep. It was quite a site to see us chilling in the lot at Maple Cafe I’m sure the people inside were wondering what we were doing. We then headed up to New Buffalo, MI and also Michigan City Park Beach, IN. We were so thankful that the rain finally stopped and we were able to enjoy the beautiful day. Just as we were leaving my mom was offering a stranger a “jump” cause their car wouldn’t start. As we were waiting we started to chat and found out that these strangers were actually some of my new neighbors…SMALL WORLD! Glad we could help you guys out. Thank you Mom and Mal for spending such a wonderful day with us. Happy Mother’s Day again MOM I LOVE YOU!

Oh so sweet…Elkhart Family Photographer

Before I get started my headlines are going to start looking like the above title. Just so there isn’t any confusion my titles will be followed with something pertaining to photography.

So this past weekend was my busiest yet. I had 6 shoots starting last Thursday through the weekend. On Friday I had the chance to capture some sweet moments of these two sisters. I went to high school with their mom and had never met her daughters yet. They are so sweet and beautiful. Big sis is 8 years older and she is such an amazing helper. She loves her little sis and she was giggling so hard when little “M” was nibbling on her nose and cheek. I fell in love with so many of these images from Friday that I don’t know how Hillary is going to choose.

We went to a great location that I had been searching for finally a big light bulb went off and I found it….it was a real A-HAH moment for me. I hope that these images will bring joy to your heart as they did for me. Thanks again Hillary. Oh and to big sis “M” I might have to use you down the road for some fun shoots you were such trooper and I’ll make sure we are bug free. I am hoping to upload a slideshow of all these images.

Stay tuned I have a lot more to post from this past weekend. Oh and I am in love with my vintage crib that I found rummaging through my parents collection of “things”…have many more fun props coming ! YIPPEE

Where has the time gone?

Lately I have been thinking how thankful I am for my family. My girls have brought so much joy to our life and I couldn’t imagine a moment without them. My girls (so I’ve been told) have the crazy bug personality as myself. They are so stinking funny. There is never a dull moment in our house. It is always so much fun to see how different kids have different personalities, but my two baby loves are so similar that we can’t help but giggle. Presley will be 3 this July and well we usually sing happy birthday a couple times a week to her because she can’t wait for her party. Sometimes we have little cakes for her too because she loves her candles (for those of you who witnessed her blowing out Reagan’s candles know what I mean). This year Jeremy and I decided that we are going to start celebrating all of our birthdays together by spending 3-4 days away somewhere within a 6 hour drive (his idea about the 6 hour limit). We are still celebrating birthdays when they happen, but Presley loves to celebrate and sing so we thought that it would be appropriate to celebrate a fun weekend every mid-October, which is also the anniversary of our first date. As Jeremy points out that’s where our relationship first started and without that we wouldn’t be blessed with our two little stinkers. Well here are a few real hill-billy photos of our girls on their tractor. We definitely have two tom-boys on our hands, but I love it. Reagan tends to get very excited and when she had the opportunity to drive she started screaming at the top of her lungs and shaking her head like a maniac, which is then followed up by a “scrunchie cheeser.” Oh and then we came in once daddy was done in the barn and he and Presley practiced their LOVE sign so sweet. I heart this pic ! Thanks for letting me share my loves.
